This. Is. Music.

Amazing. Seriously. Heaps of things going on, had to listen to it a few times to really hear everything that was going on. IMO it's not really an Industrial song, but w/e. I think that your other song "An Unfathomed" was better, though this isnt far from it. I hope this wins top five to see the public's reaction to it xD ^_^ Make MOAR Songs!

InvisibleObserver responds:

I agree its not 100% industrial, but I think its the closest I'll get in terms of genre here.

And I'm really hoping it gets weekly too, I love the public reaction to this 'different' stuff.

So far so good with the vote count / rating.

Great.

A bit quiet, but I think it's great.! Look forward to hearing more of your work. 9/10 because it was too quiet =\

I thought you were a huge prick on the forums, and that other song isnt really as good as this one. Ironically I ended up enjoying this. It's mean and different and bloody awesome. One think that could be improved is the mastering/mixing, its booming in some places.

culmor30 responds:

Glad you like it :D

Sorry about the thread, I'm generally pretty nice, except when I ask a simple question and am turned into some newgrounds-hating elitist. It wasn't the point of the post, and I was angered that people wouldn't listen when I tried to explain.

Anyway, the mix... made this a long time ago, used Soundgoodizer on the master channel to master it :D sorry bout that.

Great!

I'm a great fan of 8-Bit, and also happen to like punk music. This is awesome. Do Fat Lip and Mr. Amsterdam! =D

First off, this has a really cool riff, the slicing at the end was awesome. The sound that came in at 0:42 was also really good. Drop out at 1:13 was a bit abrupt, might want to add a bit of transition effect there, although the change at 1:39 was good with that 'huh!' vocal sample. The buildup from 3:00 was also nice, liked that a lot. After that it's pretty much the same thing. It's a bit repetitive but that doesn't really matter that much. Ending was decent.

Despite all these good things it doesn't really stand out to me that much, but it's still a great song nonetheless.

Mint.

Again, that huge imagniation that you have is beyond human compatibility. I could NEVER make anything like this. This is really relaxing, and some really nice FX in there. I really dont have anything to say about this song because it is just awesome. Cool drums too, they change quite a bit that adds to listening value.

InvisibleObserver responds:

I'm sure you could work to a different angle on music. This songs pretty simple in composition.

Pleased to hear you enjoyed it.

I dont know why the rating is so low, mate

Glitch is my new best friend. Cool sounds, I love the evil feel you gave this song. Vocals add to that horror feeling. Also loved the inharmonies in some places, and the random skipping of the song was cool. This song is really great, and must have taken a large amount of imagination to produce. I could really picture this song in a movie or horror game, it would fit so well too. People who hate on this dont see good music when its staring at them right in the bloody face.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Scores low, but once this is off audio front page, it will climb.

I actually find the low scores a bit refreshing, some people get really riled up about this, which I think is a pretty neat reaction.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a proper review.

Impressive.

Great work mate, Overall very nice sounding and quite original.
Nice sweep picking by the way.

The best parts of the song had to be the classical breaks and as the song went back to metal, imo. Your shredding is cool, good to hear some tremelo in there as well. The guitar harmonies are great too. Loved riff at 4:40, that was my favourite. Nice minor to major key change at 5:23. I would have been impressed if you played the drums, although they sound kinda drum-machiney.

Overall, very epic, good classical piano breaks, is there bass guitar though? Or did you mix it out. xD

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks for the kind words dude. The drums are sequenced so deal with it :P There is bass maybe you got crappy speakers? :D

Average.

Alright.

I think that a bit of mixing needs to be done though.
Pretty solid bass riff to begin with. I couldn't really tell that the song was through a filter until it started to go off, you might need to make that more obvious.
Nice choice of synth lead too. I would recommend a stronger or louder sounding kick though, IMO it was too weak.

Overall it didn't really make me want to dance. It's quite mellow sounding, that can be fixed with a bit of playing around though.
Nothing really stands out to me though, its like the whole thing is vanilla.

4/5 6/10

Awesome feedback thanks!

Song.

Great work. The mic recordings are pretty high standard.
The 8 bar chord progression works well, too. Massive reverb on the piano which fills up that emptiness.
The buildup here is quite good, I liked how the hi-hat and beat slowly faded in at 0:25.
Very relaxed feeling.
The synth at 0:35 was also quite cool. The guitars throughout were also of good quality.
With regards to the length: it was kinda short. Would have liked to hear an extended version!

vanguard182 responds:

hey thanks a lot for the helpful feedback. not sure what the chances are on an extended version, as there's probably not enough material in the first place, but if i do come up with something i will let you know. cheers
